Upcycling with Greensole
More than 350 million pairs of shoes are discarded each year. At Greensole we give discarded shoes a second life by upcycling them into comfortable footwear. By doing so, we keep the non-biodegradable shoes out of landfills and save carbon emissions in the process.
What’s more; this upcycled footwear is provided to the people in need across rural India which protects them from diseases contracted through unprotected feet.
Made to Order
The nature of our limited edition made-to-order products is that the making will only start once we receive the order. Thus we reduce waste and surplus stock that is sourced. The lead time is more but its quality is worth the wait. Our made-to-order footwear is part of the answer to sustainable fashion.

Circularity
At the end of life cycle of Greensole shoes, they are upcycled to new footwear and accessories, this ensures that our products can last in the value chain for as long as possible with no significant waste. Each and every product is made with environmental-friendly materials and resources and thus can be recycled and reused efficiently as a new product. By closing the loop of circularity, we aim to bring about a change in the fashion industry.
